 55+ Drop-In Program Etiquette

There has been an increase in Older Adult participation especially at drop-in programs. We would appreciate your understanding and cooperation on a few things moving forward:

  • Program sign-in at the front reception desk begins 15 minutes prior to the drop-in time
  • Participants must have a valid 55+ membership which is to be scanned at reception when checking in
  • Members must also sign a drop-in sheet and pay $1.25 at the front reception desk to gain entry into the session
  • Guests 55+ are welcome for a fee of $5 and must also sign in
  • Admittance is on a first come, first serve basis and is subject to capacity limitations
  • All schedules and locations are subject to change
  • There are many set-up transitions throughout the day. For your safety and our facility operator’s team, please adhere to the start time of your program/activity and wait until the room is set-up
  • Please understand that you may enter your program no more than 5 minutes prior to your program. This includes putting your belongings in the room prior to the program start time.
  • All 55+ programs are recreational for all levels of play and are inclusive for all members.
  • Play fair, play safely and have fun!

Most of our Adult 55+ programs take place at five main sites.

  • Bayview Hill Community Centre and Pool
