Large Appliance and Metal Goods Collection
Large appliances and metal items are collected for free on a monthly basis, by appointment only. Collection is only available for residential properties (single-family homes, apartment and condominium buildings) that receive municipal waste collection. For collection from apartment and condominium buildings, the online form must be completed by a building representative (i.e. property manager, superintendent, security, concierge, etc.).

The following items can be picked up using Richmond Hill's large appliance collection services or dropped off at one of York Region's waste depots.

Collection Guidelines:
For scheduled large appliance pick-ups, please:
- Remove all doors from appliances before putting them at the curb for collection
- Place your appliances or metal goods at the curb after 6 p.m. on the night before your collection day or before 7 a.m. the day of collection and not earlier than 6 p.m. the day before collection
