More in this Section...

We have a variety of Aquafitness classes to fit your many needs!

Aquafitness Class Descriptions
Aquafit Boot Camp
Looking for a challenge? Try this class with a mix of interval cardio with varying intensity and equipment to increase strength and aerobic endurance in both the shallow and deep end.
Aqua-Intense
This Aquafit program is designed to add intensity. You will use water dumbbells throughout the conditioning segment of the workout. Suitable for all fitness levels, and non-swimmers are welcome.
Aquafit-Combo
Aquafit-Combo is a well-rounded workout that includes a warm up, cardio segment, muscle conditioning and a cool-down. This class is designed for all fitness levels and non-swimmers are welcome.
Deep End

Get fit in the water! With the exception of the warmup and cooldown, this class takes place in the deep end of the pool. Ski belts and other floatation devices are used, so the focus remains on shaping the ab, butt and thigh muscles. The biggest plus is that this is a no impact workout. This program is suitable for all fitness levels, and non-swimmers are welcome.

Healing Waters
Healing Waters is a therapy-based program that involves mind, body and spirit. The class is designed for people who have arthritis or joint issues, such as knee surgery or hip replacements. Movement in water offers multidirectional resistance in a non-impact environment. The water supports the body and cushions movement. This class takes place in the small pool because when the water is warm, the pain cycle is interrupted and the healing process is encouraged.
Aquafitness Class Policies
  • Participants must sign an attendance sheet at the front desk to gain entry into the class.

  • Participants are not allowed to save a space, bike or equipment for any other participants planning to attend the class.
  • Participants can sign up one hour prior to the start of the class and no later than 10 minutes after the start of the class.

  • Participants who arrive more than 10 minutes after class starts will not be admitted.

  • Admittance is on a first come, first serve basis and is subject to capacity limitations.

  • Children are not allowed in the aerobic room or on the pool deck during the class.

  • All schedules, locations and instructors are subject to change

  • Please respect other patrons and wait until the previous class has finished before entering the aerobic room or the pool. Please leave promptly when your class is over.

  • Classes are subject to cancellation if there are less than three participants.

  • Aquafit classes share the pool space with other programs.
